James has been a member of the Investment Committee since 2019 bringing over 25 years experience in investing in private markets and financial services. James is currently an executive director of Rational Expectations (family office of the Le Roux family, founder & ex-CEO of Capitec Bank) and previously ran the wholly owned operations of the Macquarie group in South Africa.
